PT Telekomunikasi Seluler (Telkomsel) as the largest telecommunication service provider in Indonesia collaborates with the Faculty of Economics (FE), State University of Malang (UM). This memorandum of cooperation was signed directly by the Dean of FE UM Dr. Cipto Wardoyo, SE, M.Pd., M.Si., Ak., CA. and Manager of Telkomsel Branch Malang, Frits Marendeng on (3/10) in D4 building, 4th floor FE UM. The agreed cooperation is valid for one year, from 25 September 2019 to 25 September 2020. However, this cooperation can be extended when the validity period is over.

The cooperation program is implemented in the fields of education, research, community service, and improving the quality of human resources for both parties. However, this cooperation focuses more on educational and learning activities.
The forms of cooperation include training seminars, digital marketing, and providing sponsorship for several events to be held at FE. In addition, this collaboration also opens opportunities for students who want to carry out study and field practice (KPL) activities for two to six months, as well as research in Telkomsel's operational environment.

The signing of this collaboration was also followed by soft skills training by PT Telkomsel for the 99th and 100th graduates of FE UM. FE is always providing soft skills training for prospective graduates as a provision for students to enter the world of work.

In the training, Telkomsel provided material on making a good and interesting curriculum vitae. Not only that, participants were also given several tips for dealing with questions when conducting a job interview test.
