UM Continuous KKN 2020 "Product Marketing to Increase Pagersari Village UKM Selling Results in the New Normal Era"
Real Work Lecture or often referred to as KKN is a student activity in the form of service to the community and the surrounding environment. The Community Service Program itself aims to help and have a positive impact on the community or the surrounding environment. This Continuous Community Service Program at State University of Malang starts from September 18 to December 27 2020 with a system of activities on the weekends, namely Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Followed by 15 students of the Continuous KKN State University of Malang and supervised by Dr. Azizatus Zahro ', S.Pd, M.Pd. Previously, students were required to carry out activities in the field frequently, because of the Covid-19 outbreak, students had to adjust to health protocols that had been enforced by the government. Like 3M (washing hands, keeping your distance, and wearing a mask).
The Covid-19 outbreak or pandemic has resulted in a decline in the economy of the people in Indonesia, especially in the SME sector (Small and Medium Enterprises). This happened because of the government policy in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic by means of physical distancing, resulting in direct trading difficulties between sellers and buyers. This information also happened to one of the SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) in Pagersari Village, Ngantang District, Malang Regency, namely in the chips snack business.
This KKN activity is carried out so that the selling power of snack products in Pagersari Village, Ngantang District, Malang Regency remains stable or even increases. This program aims to market village chips products by creating social media accounts to sell these chips online.
The first step of this program is to find information on what products are in Pagersari village by asking directly to the village head who is also the head of the village UKM PKK. When the product has been obtained, we will market it through the ig account: @jajananpagersari which is made by KKN Continuous UM 2020 students. The creation of this social media account is also one of the introduction of students to the community so that they can also take advantage of existing technology properly and correctly. The account will be submitted to the head of the PKK UKM in Pagersari Village, Ngantang District, Malang Regency when the students have finished carrying out KKN activities, so that it can be further developed in the future.
Through the holding of the UM 2020 KKN Continuous, this time it has a positive impact on UKM (Small and Medium Enterprises) players in Pagersari Village, Ngantang District, Malang Regency. This can be seen from the increased capacity of SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) in Pagersari Village, Ngantang District, Malang Regency in terms of marketing their products online. And it could potentially expand marketing that can be purchased online as well as have more flexible timing. So that it will help SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) in Pagersari Village, Ngantang District, Malang Regency in increasing selling results in the New Normal era like this.
