Pagersari, a Milk Heaven in Remote Ngantang, Malang Regency
Pagersari Village, Ngantang District, Malang Regency is one of the villages that is blessed with abundant natural wealth, so that the majority of the population who live there work as farmers and dairy cattle breeders, the intelligence of cow breeders makes good quality milk. Therefore, students of the State University of Malang (UM) KKN Pagersari Village gave a solution idea by growing Pagersari Village as a tourism and education village on Friday (18/27). The idea was implemented to advance the economy in Pagersari village for the welfare of the village community.
Lucky Reza Alfikar Rahma Januar said his desire to grow the tourism sector. With the emergence of the tourism sector, it has an impact on the income value of MSMEs in Pagersari village. "Efforts to increase the income of rural communities by growing the tourism sector. "The tourism sector is taken because Pagersari village has a beautiful nature and education for tourists to raise dairy cows by producing good quality milk, it is hoped that it will be able to attract tourists so as to encourage the progress of MSMEs too," he said. Not only UMKM were noticed by KKN UM students in Pagersari village but also created a reading corner for education for the children of Pagersari village.
The program that the KKN team is working on is one way for students to apply the knowledge gained in lectures and to serve the community. It is hoped that the collaboration between the State University of Malang through KKN students and Pagersari Village is expected to help improve the welfare and prosperity of the village community.
